1st Pop Up Show

Muumba collective in Collaboration with Nzani Creative Hub aimed to bring

together artists from diverse barkgrounds to create wall murals that promote

communty inclusion, celebrate. The unique culture of Africa and raise awareness

about the importance of recycling in the community .We provided a space for

artists to design, create and showcase their works with aspecific focus on

female artist’s, during the 3week competition the artists received mentorship

from established artists including Kiggundu Rodney (visual artist and mularlist),

Consodyn Buzabo and Joseph Ssematimba, (Art lecturer at Makerere

Artschool)

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd runner ups were rewarded with a pop-up show at

Allance Franceise Kampala
